I'm trying to buy my husband a new graphics card and 4k monitor. I've done some research which has only made me more confused about what is best. I want to spend around $1000 total. He plays games like Borderlands 2, Diablo III and others similar to those. I would love any advice.

If you want to try to get it all, this is your best bet.

His PSU is on the lower end as well. I would say keep the monitor, for now and update the whole system.
