Hi All,

I am slowly getting the parts foe my first PC build:
Link to parts picker:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8ZRhdX

I have already purchased the Graphics Card (1070), CPU (i5-8600k) and RAM (HyperX fury (2x8gb) 3466Mhz).
- SSDs, Monitors & Peripherals are owned already as well.
I've pretty much made up my mind on the Maximus X Hero Motherboard, unless an argument can be made for a viable substitute.
I mainly need advise on the cooling (Want to go with an AIO liquid cooler), the case (Would like to see the inside), and what PSU would go well with this build.

I will be attempting to Overclock the CPU, and the PC will be used almost exclusively for gaming.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Thanks

The Hero is one of the best boards for overclocking and its a good choice for pairing with that chip... https://www.pcgamer.com/the-best-z370-motherboards/

The Corsair H100i is a pretty sufficient to keep it cooled, unless you are going for record clocks. Case is a personal choice but the one listed below is a quality one. And good quality 650w PSU should be enough for that build. Overall, this is how it should look like...

CPU: *Intel - Core i5-8600K 3.6GHz 6-Core Processor ($259.89 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: Corsair - H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($84.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Asus - ROG MAXIMUS X HERO ATX LGA1151...

For a case, there are so many options and it depends on your personal style. A good pairing for that build would be the NZXT H700 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C3SKSFK/ref=sspa_dk_detail_2?th=1 but, again, it's if you like it.

For a cooler, a 240mm AIO and above would be optimal. I would suggest either the Corsair H100i PRO https://www.amazon.com/CORSAIR-Radiator-Advanced-Lighting-Software/dp/B07BWNWQKJ/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1540899985&sr=1-4&keywords=240mm+aio or the NZXT Kraken X52 https://www.amazon.com/RL-KRX52-02-Cooling-Software-Controlled-Lighting/dp/B06XWYY83S/ref=sr_1_6?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1540899985&sr=1-6&keywords=240mm+aio

For a PSU, anything with a gold rating and 650watts or more would be perfect here. I would suggest the EVGA SuperNova 750 G3 https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Supernova-Modular-Warranty-220-G3-0750-X1/dp/B005BE058W/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1540900101&sr=1-1&keywords=evga+supernova+750
