Should I upgrade Rx 480 or RAM

I just recently bought the new AC: Odyssey game on PC and was having a hard time running it smoothly, I have AMD Radeon Rx 480 FX-8350 with 8 gb of RAM. Was thinking of either upgrading RAM to 16gb or upgrading to a better graphics card.. kind of confused on what to do. Any help would be much appreciated :)

Your current rig just hits the recommended system requirements. You might be having a RAM issue as there could be a lot of page swapping. My recommendation for anyone doing gaming would be 16GB if it is in their budget. However, that being said your CPU is quite old and slow compared to current stuff. Upgrading to 16GB DDR4, B450, and a Ryzen 2600 would be the best thing to do.

I have an AMD Radeon RX 480 FX-8350 with ddr3 8gb of RAM. What would I need to change compatibility wise to remove my FX processor and add a Ryzen 2600
