Hi, I would like to ask the same question folks have asked before but, my Manufacturer HP incorrectly lists the specs so I cannot go to their website and just look it up.
As you can see the description below directly contradicts itself. It says 3.1 Gen 2 but 5GB/s. Lifted directly from the Manufacturers website:

So how does one determine their USB 3.1 Type C Speed or Generation?
