Installed new GTX 1080Ti and it isn't working.

I just got my new Gigabyte 1080ti and I've installed it correctly (as it is showing in dxdiag) as well as downloaded the latest Nvida drivers. However, the card still won't work. Is there any other issues that could arise?

My system:
8GB DD3 RAM
550W Corsair PSU
i5-4690k @ 4.2 GHz
Z97 Pro Gamer
Gigabyte 1080Ti

First of all, that power supply does not meet the recommended capacity for your system when equipped with a 1080 ti. You want something 600w or higher, that is exceptional quality, for that card. None of the CX series power supplies, not even the more modern 2017 and newer models, would be considered even very good, much less exceptional.

Secondly, how do you know it is showing in DXDIAG if it's not working? Have you connected the monitor cable to the card, rather than to the motherboard video outputs? WITHOUT any cable connected to the video outputs on the motherboard?

Are the supplemental power connectors from the PSU connected to the graphics card?

Do you have the latest motherboard bios version installed?

What EXACTLY do you mean by "it won't work"? Is there no display at ALL when using the card, or is it just not performing well?

Thanks for the quick reply,
I have connected a display cable to the GPU and it is working however, when launching task manager it is not being tracked under GPU. As well as that the GPU is not working in games such as BO4.

I have the 6 pin and 8 pin connected to the GPU from the PSU but that's it. I only have the GPU slotted into the PCI-E slot. I'll try using the DDU now as I had just gone and manually uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers.

EDIT: I cleaned the drivers and re installed them but that didn't work.
