Hello, some time ago I bought 8GB memory for my PC, it was everything fine, the system was working faster and it was all fine, but when i Run "new game" like The Witcher 3 I am still getting stuttering in game, maybe not that much like when I had 4GB Ram but it's still annoying.
I am toatally newbie in stuff like that, I am still learning, maybe I installed somehow wrong my Ram, or something ?
My PC:
i5 750 2.67GHz
8GB RAM
GTX 1050Ti

how many sticks of ram do you have in the computer now? did you just ADD more ram (just checking to be sure but based on your question you are ONLY using the new 8GB of ram) or are you only using the new ram. Also did you set the ram speed correctly in bios / UEFI? and so on.. also is the new ram the same speed, cas latency etc.. because it can matter.

Also did you try the "new game" like the witcher 3 per upgrade? though it looks like you said you "still" get shuttering in the game.

ALSO more important that game requires a MIN processor much faster then your current one.. (min spec for intel is the i5 2500K that is a LOT faster then what you have)

I would recommend if you want to run those games (and newish games) you really need to upgrade everything.. You can go in stages. like new mobo, ram, cpu and still use your current GPU.. then get a new GPU later

an entry to mid level amd Ryzen system would be a LOT faster I would though recommend if you like to game that you go with an Ryzen 5 2600 or better. Unless you have lots of extra cash around then an new intel i9 cpu based system?

Ahh, so do you mean my CPU is to weak for "new games"? I am ONLY using the new Ram, I do only have 2 slots, I havent change anything in BIOS after I installed my RAM, I just took the old one out and Installed the new one and it was working, didn't need to change anything in BIOS.

Ram is mostly plug and play. though if you have something other then like a Dell most of the time you can up the ram speed.. but you have to see what you purchased.. like if its 3200 Mhz ram normally a board will set it at 2400Mhz as default and you have to change the settings to match the ram you purchased.

https://en.cdprojektred.com/support/tw3-system-requirements/

I checked that for the 1 game you mentioned. (above link) and I looked up the specs on the CPU they list as MIN requirement and its at lest 45% faster..

Did you look at his specs for that CPU.. he has it OCed to the max.. the base speed for your cpu is only like 2.667Ghz that person has their CPU overclocked to 3.8Ghz

Rig: Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 Intel Core i5-750 @ 3.8 GHz GeForce Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming @ Stock DDR3 12 GB @ 1600 MHz Seagate 500 GB 7200 RPM HDD Samsung 1.5 TB 5400 RPM HDD OSD Sensors: MSI Afterburner 4.1.0 RivaTuner Statistics Server 6.3.0 FRAPS

You may be able to turn off some of the video effects etc.. like put it on low and see if you can go up from that to get it running smooth.

I already checked some setting in games, i tried lowest settings, but it was the same, FPS was higher but it was still stutteting. Okey now I get it, but I think I cant overclock my cpu cause it's locked.
