Hey hardware-enthusiasts!

I'm trying to boot up this scrap PC (specs at the bottom) just to get into BIOS. I am not using a case and I just put my motherboard on some stacked cardboard until my case arrives.

The PC starts and keeps running every time, no matter what I try, but does never show any video output.
The motherboard doesn't seem to have an on-board speaker, so I don't get any beep-sounds either.

What I've tried:

  • ■ Without video card (HDMI and VGA)
    ■ With video card (2 different ones, both VGA)
    ■ 3 different ram sticks in both slots
NO RAM STICKS (and it still kept running - that's why I chose RAM as category here)
    ■ 2 different PSU's
    ■ Removed the CMOS and waited for 20 minutes and put it back
    ■ Cleared BIOS settings by circuiting the two pins assigned in the manual

It has worked before with mostly the same hardware.

My question:
Is there anything I forgot to do
or
How do I check which part is malfunctioning/broken

Thanks in advance!

Remove the CPU and visually inspect pins for possible damage. Reinstall and try again. At the very least, re-seating the CPU might be all that's needed.

Also, you can purchase a motherboard PC speaker real cheap. Under 2 bucks. Shipping would probably be more expensive. Consult the MB Manual as to where it should be installed. It's only going to be two pins.
