low single core performance on 7700hq

hi,
i'm having really low single core performance on my i7 7700hq i'm getting nearly 117cb on cinebench and averging 280 on cpu-z, undervolted to -0.120 and having no heat issues whatsoever
i have msi stealth thin laptop gs73vr 7rg with gtx 1070 max
any ideas on what might be the issue here?

just got it fixed, had to perform a clean windows 10 install, updated all drivers, something was wrong with the hardware, i guess some incompatibilities,now i get 147 on cinebench

Sometimes that helps. In this case reinstalling windows was the solution. Now you have your first best answer. It was a software issue purely. Nothing wrong with the hardware.
