2080 sli running at 50% each HELP!

So i got my 2nd 2080 recently and i am seriously confused. i got no fps gain what so ever, at first i thought it was just battlefield 1 where i got 110 pre sli and still get 110 fps at sli. then i played Black ops 4, same problem... no gain what so ever and 110fps... it's really frustrating as i see it working perfectly for other people on youtube...

I play at 1440p

I have been wondering if it might be a cpu bottleneck? but it shouldn't limit me THAT MUCH

SETUP:
i7-6700k 4,6ghz
asus z170 pro gaming
32gb 2133mhz ddr4 ram
1x 2080 msi gaming x trio
1x 2080 msi duke
1000w g2

Run a benchmark that is known to support sli, this will at least prove your hardware is working.

Sli support is poor these days. Also when you mentioned cpu bottleneck you used total cpu usage, this is fairly meaningless. You need to monitor all the cores, it only takes 1 core hitting 100% to limit performance.

you're running latest nvidia drivers?

Are you sure you're not CPU bottlenecked?
I also have the 6700K and I only start to get bottlenecked (not truly bottlenecked) when I play a game like AC: Origins, or Shadow of the Tomb Raider where my CPU gets up to about 90% usage so that shouldn't be the case. But perhaps thermal throttling?

(P.S. - I'm overclocked to 4.6Ghz BTW)

do you run sli or single card performance? cause i only get 90-100% with 1 card
