Hello guys I need a new psu in my it’s build because, the 450watt silver stone psu I have right now can’t handle pubg. It loads then pc shuts off then bios tells me the psu had a surge. I’ve been looking at this 500 watt gold plus Silverstone module because I’m limited to space with my it’s build, but will it be enough for max draw?
Specs
ASUS P8H61-I R2.0
Core i7 2600 3.40 up to 3.80ghz (Liquidcooled Corsair)
Gtx 1060 6gb unknown model but it’s mini version(also liquicooled NZXT)
Gskill ram 16gigs ddr3
2 120mm fans
1 80mm fan
Silverstone 450 watt bronze psu not module

Solution
Yeah it's plenty, but the 450w should be plenty too. I think you have a bad power supply. I would contact Silverstone for a replacement. They have a good warranty policy. You could power that system with 300w. The CPU is 95w max and the GPU is 75w max. The rest of the components wouldn't pull more than 30w.

I would contact them, but I got this mini ITX build from a guy for a trade of my gaming laptop and I think the warrenty is gone Im guessing he had issues with it and didn't know how to fix it, evrything works fine, but its currently running windows 7 and the back 2 UBS ports 3.0 does not work. Device manager tells me that it does not have any drivers installed with it, Ive tried to update it, but it won't find any online. Thanks for the help ill then buy the new power supply and see how it goes thank you very much for your time.

Also forgot to say on google it says that the gtx 1060 max draw is 120 watts, or does it depend on the model, I have a mini version, but the guy didn't tell em if its a evga or msi and such.
