CPU : AMD FX6300 (with a stock cooler)
MOBO : msi 970-g41

So, when i play one specific game "NBA 2K19" on high preset (i have a gtx 1060 6gb model) it'll play just fine, but after 6-7 minutes the FPS drops from 65-75 on Average to 23-30fps with some sound glitches and that's because it underclocks itself from 3.5ghz-3.65ghz to 1.67-2.2ghz. Do you guys have any solutions to this problem? Thanks in advance!
TEMPS (during load)
CPU : Min:33 Max:70 Average: 66-67 (all on 3800RPM speed on the CPU FAN with 3.7ghz - 3.8ghz boost clock
CPU VCore: Min: 1.320V Max: 1.384V

Solution
It's too hot. AMD recommends that CPU not exceed 62c package temp for extended periods of time, it will begin to throttle shortly after that. It will really start to tank clocks around 70c. That motherboard also has a pretty weak VRM which might be getting quite hot.

The solution would be to get it running cooler. Maybe take off the heatsink, clean it od dust, and replace the thermal paste. Or get a better cooler.

I have done everything you said even before posting this thread on this site, i just think it is time to move on from this old FX 6300 system and prepare my wallet for Intel CPU's, though thanks for the answer.
