Can mixing RAM ruin my PC?

I currently have 1x8GB stick of DDR4 2133MHz in my PC and I have ordered 3 more sticks of the same brand, same model, just 3 months after. I read online that motherboards can be sensitive to adding new RAM and it can cause the "blue screen of death". If I add this new RAM to my PC and the "blue screen of death" comes up, is the damage permanent or by removing the new RAM can the problem be fixed? I would like to add additional RAM to my PC instead of selling my current RAM and purchasing a new kit (as I have already ordered 4 sticks total now) but I do not want to cause irreversible damage to my PC. Thank you for my help.

PC is running Windows 10.

Whoever told you that mixing ram is going to damage your motherboard.... well let's not. The worst thing that will happen is that your board will not like the memory and spit out errors, no hardware damage will occur unless you install the sticks wrong. More often than not your board will not care, and you will have more memory to use, The best thing you can do since you already ordered those is to try the sticks, as it will not hurt your board.

Thank you so much for your help. If it spits out errors and doesn't start up properly will removing the new sticks fix the problems?
