PC parts on the way, questions.

As the title says, all of my parts are on the way, I’m building from the ground up, BUT, i decided to only get 500GB of SSD and i want to use my 1TB HD as well, my current one. I have my windows 7 64 bit Key. And i can burn a CD with the installation on it. Would i just have to wipe my HD, then install SSD and HD into my new build, then re-install with my code? Also, I’m not the best at certain things, would i just install the SSD, setup windows, then install HD to ensure that my SSD is my boot?

I can get windows 7 for free, already paid for it. But windows 10 i’d have to buy, and after I’ve already spent $1200 I’m trying to take a little break. Is there no way to force update 7 to 10? Also. Now that I’m thinking about it, i don’t think i have a disk tray for this build, and i don’t picture myself needing one besides for installing windows, any other way to install it? Maybe a flash drive?

Edit: and would i still have to wipe the HD?

Oh i did not know that, can i use a flash drive to install it to the SSD? If so, can someone send me the link for what i need to download and put on the drive
