Hey All....
So my older friends(62ish) mother(maybe 82?.... She's in good nick, hard to tell) has asked me how much it would be to give her a daughter a new computer for her b-day.
Thing is, if she wanted the latest gaming rig and the stuff to overclock the crap out of it.... No worries..... But with this, I have no idea......
Her daughter only shops online on the pc. And emails. So I'm looking for recommendations for the fastest ebay and email page loading mobo cpu mem storage etc.....I'm going to use the same atx case, psu, case fans and stuff because it sits under the desk out of sight anyways..... Maybe I'll bust out for an rgb fan or something.
I'm hoping to put this together for the lowest possible price for her obviously..... I just don't know where I can cut corners buying stuff that still gives the speed of a kick ass 2018 system.... Given her usage seems to be so low and specific..... She has a broadband internet connection (no idea of speed), but if her current pc isn't drawing the max possible, that might be something actually worth spending money on in this build.
I don't expect anyone to shop for me.... If I could get an idea of the important basic elements of whats needed to make it super fast for this use would be very much appreciated...
