Dvd drive problem

Ok so i recently bought a graphics card RX 580 and i got a disc with it as usual but when i put the disc in the DVD drive it spins the disc inside but does not load anything i tested several movies and other discs to double check but nothing seem to be working, Need help

sounds right. check the cables.
in my experience DVD and CD drives tend to have short lives unless you use them regularly. its strange but if you rarely use the drive when you use it next it may not work.

all the software on the disk can be downloaded from the GPU makers site, the versions on the disk are already old.
