Good day,

I recently built a new rig and i'm planning to upgrade my CPU cooler. I have a Ryzen 5 2600x sitting on an MSI B350m (micro-ATX) motherboard.I noticed that the stock Ryzen CPU cooler sits too close to my RAM sticks, which leads me to my question. What would be the best CPU cooler to fit in my micro-ATX build?

I'm planning to buy either a DEEPCOOL ICE BLADE PRO V2 or a NOCTUA NH-U12S. My main concern is, will it fit in my motherboard and not hit my RAM sticks.

Thanks.

an AIO would likely be the best, but if you wanna stick to air the noctura nh-u12s says it is good with ram clearance

"The S-version’s 45mm slim shape guarantees 100% compatibility with tall RAM modules "

also should work in a micro-atx motherboard
"the cooler stays clear of the top PCIe slot on most standard ATX or Micro-ATX motherboards,"

only thing you'd have to worry about is the case you have.

"Standing 158mm tall, the NH-U12S is short enough to fit most modern mid- or high-end tower cases. Measuring 125mm wide (including fan and fan clips)"

also if you do make sure you get the correct version.
the normal u12s is only for amd1-3.

for amd 4 you would need the SE model

but again good cooler that should be compatible with your MB as long as your case is not a slim or smaller case.
