monitor is a bit old i believe its 1080p not much delay at all games will be like black ops 4 and other games like that and yea im not gonna do much else just yea.

Helps if you state Aus to folk. I got into a list of parts and after 2-3 parts, noticed the USD was far less. It's a mainly US site, so expect CA/AUS/NZ folk to help people with that. ;)

Looks fine from here. Maybe bear in mind that the 1070 Ti will be more than enough at 1080p, and a 1060 6GB will suffice for 60FPS for many games / settings. It would also take $250 off the cost of the system.

I would make one change and that is to get a Z390 motherboard instead of the Z370 as you will be able to upgrade in the future to a 9700K or 9900K...The price difference at the Z390 Prime or even better look at the ASRock Pro 4 should be the same or less...

I’d drop the 970evo completely and run the 860 evo in a m.2 form factor exclusively. In a gaming pc you won’t notice the difference. I learned the hard way.

That will get you down below the target.

But... as soon as you can I would recommend a 1440p/144hz/gsync monitor. That system is too nice for 1080p.
