Hey,

So I'm building my first gaming/ video editing/ all-purpose computer.

My specs are as follows:

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600

Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix f-Gaming X470 AM4 ATX

RAM: Crucial Ballistix 2x4gb (2400 mghz)

SSD: Samsung 860 EVO 500GB

Hard Drive: 1TB Western Digital Blue (7200RPM)

Graphics Card: ASUS GTX 1060 6gb dual fan

Case: Phanteks Eclipse P400S

On PC part picker, it says my total wattage is 290Watts. Is this accurate? What watt power supply should i get?

Thanks and Regards,
Jakub

I would look to get at least a good 500w PSU or 550w. This will be more than good enough for the build and provide some headroom for any future upgrades. As to PSU's if you really need to save money, this Seasonic M12II EVO 620W 80+ Bronze EVO Edition is only $59.99

But this Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 550w would be the best option at $84.00:

This EVGA 650 GQ, 80+ Gold 650W is also on sale at the moment for $69.98 though it is not fully modular but still very good.
