Hello,

I am using an x470 motherboard with a Ryzen 2700x processor. I've bought an Asus GTX 1080 Ti on ebay to replace an RX 580 and the system will not boot with it. Everything powers up and the 1080 spins at full speed.

The system functions properly when switching back to to the RX 580. I have tried using Display Driver Uninstaller to remove the AMD graphics.

I don't have another PC to test with. The GPU is getting power from the PCI E slot. The fans run at full speed without the auxiliary power. I know both the auxiliary power and the PCI E slot work because they work with the other GPU.

The seller shipped it just in the retain box, so maybe the lack of packaging or moisture could have damaged it?

Without testing on other PC I can't say anything
