I have a Alienware™ 875 Watt Multi-GPU Approved Power Supply, with a 8-Pin / 8-Pin GPU power connector currently plugged in. Does this mean an 8-Pin / 6-Pin GPU will not plug into that PSU?
It won't plug in directly if the the PSU doesn't have a 6 pin....but you can get an 8 pin to 6 pin adapter and that should work.
So does the Alienware™ 875 Watt Multi-GPU Approved Power Supply have a six pin?
Well...you have it....look at it....does it?
All I'm saying is that if you have two eight pin plugs now....and you have a card that needs an 8 pin and a 6 pin....you get an adapter that changes one of the eight pin plugs to a 6 pin plug and you're all set.
