8 g corsair ram
cooler master thunder 600 w
gtx 1050 ti 4 gigs
gigabyte b85m-d3h

okay so this is whats going a week ago my side panel fan went bad and i took it out thinking i already have 1 fan i thought i could just use it without the second one so i took out the side panel and kept it open next day i played ac odyssey for 5 hours straight it was all good the day after that i didnt turn on my pc the next day after i turned it on bought dying light because it was sale and started playing and after 40 min my cpu shuts down. i always use msi afterburner and my temps for cpu was at 65 and gpu 64 in dying light i thought it might be the heat, started up witcher 3 and ac odyssey same thing happened and temps were at 62-60 for both cpu and gpu both games. next day i started up aco again this time it played fine for more than 1 hour and after that i just turned of my pc because i had to go somewhere. first i thought it was the thermal paste drying up so i renewed it still didnt work next this happened today i wanted to download destiny 2 so i left pc overnight and today i woke up my cpu was off now usually when this happens my cpu turns back on after like 15 or secs or 1 min but today it didnt turn back on might be because it had just shut down i dont really know.also i can play other games like sleepin dogs definiteve edition or jc 3 for hours and it wont turn off i played sleeping dogs for 6 hours straight nothing happened. also also i dont really know much about computers so please if u guys need any info please tell me how to find it or something. appreciate the help in advance.

Solution
most times a power supply can age badly. where a cap can leak from age and under load it shut down. if you have a friend with a spare unit to use for testing see if the error shows up.
