When I put my PC to sleep mode, it appears to do so.. Like turning off the display and the CPU quickly. When I press any keyboard button to turn it on from sleep mode, it turns on but it's like booting from the beginning from where you actually turn on the PC. How do I fix this? I tried other solutions which including options like "Hibernation" and all which I couldn't find on my PC. I run Windows 10 btw.

Thank you.

open Edit Power Plan > Click Advanced Power settings > then the power option window should come up.. make sure you are looking at the Active power plan if you have more then 1 on the dropdown..
Then you should be able to expand Sleep > and turn all that stuff off.. like if you dont want it to sleep set that to never (or what ever number you want it at) Then under Allow hybrid sleep set that to Off. and if you don't want hibernate to do its thing make sure that is set to never in the sleep settings.

Interesting. thats a custom plan.. not standard at all. depending on the manufacturer of the computer you have it could be as simple as uninstalling or setting the power settings in the manufacturers power settings.

BUT like I have done in the past with a few systems that had that after I got rid of the extra power setting stuff they came with (speaking about laptops) you can reset your power settings. Open the command prompt (as admin) and type in powercfg -restoredefaultschemes

Just a warning that will FULLY reset the power plans and remove any and all custom plans (like the one you have shown)

then you should be good..

ALSO, for safety because of what you have described it cant hurt to also in the command prompt run a system check just type in (as long as you are in the admin cmd) type in SFC /scannow

if it finds any issues there is help for that as well.
