Hi, I am upgrading an old AMD rig that currently has an Athlon II X2 240 CPU.
The motherboard (M2N68-AM plus) will support both a Phenom II X4 945 (NZ$40) and Phenom II X4 960t. (NZ$50).
The specs are similar with a 3.0GHz base clock. It appears the 960t has a boost of 3.4GHz and a slightly larger L2 cache.
I have plenty of GPU options and find that the X2 CPU is currently the bottleneck.
Does anyone know if there will be any noticeable difference in gaming FPS between the two? Games usually played are WoT and older FPS.
Thanks in advance for any answers
