Wireless Extender losing internet connection

I bought a wireless repeater to extend my wifi in a particular room with poor signal. I plug it up, configured it through the wizard but after about 30 minutes, the wifi was still up, but with no internet connection. I plug it off, did a factory reset and configured again, and same thing happened, full signal, normal wifi for the first 30 minutes, then no internet connection (though the devices are still connected to the repeater's wifi). Any idea of what's in conflict with my network?

Make and model of your wireless repeater? Are you on the latest firmware for the device? You may also want to investigate the source of your internet connection(router) and see if other devices connected to it are also experiencing the same issue.

I don't exactly know the model since i bought a cheap imported one.
I tested on a friend's house and it works perfectly normal, and when i connect other devices directly in my router, the wifi and the internet works perfectly normal (though the signal is very poor in this room). The problem seems to be in my router <-> repeater communication if i were to guess, since the internet (not the signal) after a period of time just stops working and no errors in any device are shown
