My PC won’t work properly

When I try to turn on my PC it will not get to the POST screen and I need to unplug it to turn it off. My keyboard and mouse do not light up, however my RGB CPU cooler does, as well as the lights on my motherboard. If someone could help me with this problem it would be appreciated. Thanks!

Check with different Power supply

Do you use a surge protector? Have you had any power outages? Has anything else changed since before this happened such as any new software, updates or hardware? Have you reset the CMOS?

It is not connected to a surge strip and there are not windows updates that I know of. How do I reset my CMOS?

You can open you PC case and just shorting two pins Written CLR-CMOS.

Be sure to unplug it or turn the power supply off before you try and short the pins. You short the pins together by using something like the head of a screwdriver. If you don't have a anti-static band make sure you touch the power supply with the other hand to limit any static charge. Also you should pretty much always use a really good surge protector on electrical equipment that is worth more than 100$.
