I’m soon upgrading my specs for my pc build, changing the graphics card and cpu, I have decided on gtx 1070 Ti and Ryzen 5 1600 seems the best budget support for it. But thank fully I realized before pruchase that Ryzen needs to work on ddr4 ram. What amd motherboard supports Ryzen 1600 with ddr4 ram, and what ram should I buy?

SPECS OF BEFORE BUILD
Gigabyte GTX 1050
Amd fx-6300
Will update with mother board
I am planning to upgrade all three of these things

Solution

For that price you can get better, get a Ryzen 7 with 8 cores...

Thanks a lot! Yeah I’m new to the individual numbers and models. but I’ll probably get 16 GB / 2 sticks of 3200 ram. Down the road I wanna get 2080 as the gpu upgrade, but I don’t want to spend too much money or bottle neck my cpu. I’ll get a gigabyte B450M amd! Thanks again!

The 2600 gives a bit better performance for right at the same price in US dollars.

That is not even a good answer the B350 should cost a bit less and run just fine with the 1600 and get at least 3000mhz memory. For the 20 series video cards unless they get the problem fix that some of the cards are having not something I would buy.

The 2600 is still faster till you get past 6 cores so still not a good answer. You can always buy a cheaper motherboard and up the processor.
