I5 9600K vs I7 8700K

I have just upgraded to a 1080 TI and I will be needing a new CPU to go with it. Right now I am thinking about one of these two.
Cant seem to find many great benchmark comparisons between them. The I5 9600K is about 70 euroes cheaper, but is it worth it to spend the extra 70 euroes for the 8700K?
I am gaming on 1080p 144hz.

The 9600K performance is identical to 8600k, except for the regular 5 to 6% increase in IPC as far as Intel processors go.

The 8700K is definitely worth the extra price. Esp. with games like AC odyssey come with turd level of CPU usage optimization.
The 8700K is roughly 50% faster than 9600K in multi-core performance.

You will anyway buy a high end mobo for OCing. If 70 Euros are hard to come by for you, then go for the 9600K or if you are just contemplating the price vs performance ratio, the 8700K is a worthy processor for the 70 Euro hike.
