Hello,

I have an ASUS UX32A notebook, trying to PXE boot with USB NIC and I believe this is the option required to PXE boot. Tried many combinations of secure boot, CSM made sure network stack is enabled. The only boot options I can get is "Windows Boot Manager (P0: OCZ-AGILITY3)" & "P1: SanDisk SSD i100 24GB".

Am I being a complete idiot?

firstly: for a network card to perform PXE boot is has to be able to do so
secondly: for a network card to PXE boot , BIOS has to permit it (if internal like on a laptop)

Looking at the specification of your laptop :https://www.asus.com/us/Laptops/ASUS-ZenBook-UX32A/specifications/

Looking at the specs and user manual of the laptop seems wired networking is an option for this laptop
are you using wired networking or WIFI ?

also assuming you have the wired networking option on your laptop looking at the user manual;
I do not see a PXE boot option, if there is one, it should be found under the networking options usually as a PXE Boot on/off choice.

Hello,
Thank you for your help.

I am not using Wifi, have a USB-Ethernet adapter as no Ethernet port on the laptop.
Network stack enabled.
Secure boot on/off, it doesn't work.
