Intel i7 3.4 Ghz running at 70+° Celsius

When I play Battlefield 3, on it's highest settings (Ultra) My CPU temperature ranges between 70°- 80° Celsius, is this okay/normal? This is my first build and I want to make sure that the processor is okay. After leaving Battlefield 3 the temp right now is at 43° Celsius. Please keep in mind that these are the temperatures with my computers case fans turned all the way up.

Are you using the stock cooler?

it's normal use stock cooling .. and still safe

Okay, thanks. Can you tell me what temperature would not be alright? Also, Once it hits around 75° my MB (ASUS Z77)'s software (AI Suite II) says that it shouldn't be at that temperature.

open the side panels of your case and then run BF3 and monitor the temps and if the AI Suite gives warning...if it runs cool then maybe there is an airflow issue in your computer case
