Assassin's creed odyssey

So I have redeemed my coupon which I got with new graphics card and I got assassin's creed odyssey but the problem is I have to download it from uplay app and I think it is around 75 gb and my data plan is not great, I get 1gb to use every day. So any advice for me to at least get the work done in minimum data?

Can you ask a friend to download it for you and then transfer it by usb or external hdd to your system?

Actually it's same with everyone here in India, everyone has limited bandwidth and I can change my data plan and I can have 5 gb per day usage but I don't know if the download can be paused and resumed to download it in a week or so.

The download can be paused and resumed at a later time, the data already downloaded stays and it picks up from there.

Well guess I have to change my data plan and although it won't be much but It will do.

One more thing, can download be paused and resumed in steam too?

Should be. Basically any download suite will check for files before starting each time. So it will see whatever files are already there.

Steam and Uplay both have options to pause and resume later. It will keep the downloaded files even if you close the apps and restart your PC. Just don't close without pausing or restart without pausing the downloads; I've lost some partial downloads like that.
