Just wondering if recording a tv screen with your phone can damage the tv? It's LED 4k. Just asking cause I remember putting a magnet to a PC once (like an idiot) and it damaged it. Just wondered if phone recording damages tv picture image.

Solution
magnets dont really effect modern screens anymore.

CRT had the issue becasue it interfered with the way they worked to display stuff.

LED/LCD do not function that way so you wont have a problem.

HDD's also got effected (so still dotn put a magnet near your hdd)

phones dont use HDD's so magnets cant (easily) damage them either.

tl;dr no issue. record your screen all you want.

You mean aiming the phone at the TV and recording?
No.
