My network device keeps "turning off" randomly. Not sure what the X means or why its there but when there's an X, I can't use my wifi. Not an issue with my actual wifi, I've gotten that out of the way for sure. Internet works on the phone. I have to keep on disabling and enabling the network device every time that X appears and it's extremely frustrating because it happens often and while I am on an online match in a video game. I have looked this up on google and read the connectivity issue sticky post, but nothing solved this issue. had this problem for a while but it got worse. I tried updating my drivers and it said that the best version was already installed. Restarting computer didn't work either. And no, the power management has nothing to do with this since its already checked off. Pretty stumped right now. last resort here. Hope I can find a solution to this soon!

funny thing is, it stopped working as I was typing this and I had to disable and re-enable again!):??:

My OS is Windows 10

Well of course W10 is picky. It needs baby sitting.

W10 is picky about the NIC, it may not fully support it. So listen carefully 'cuz am going to say this once. Assuming you currently have a Microsoft driver for it, go directly to the chipset (WIFI) vendor's site, and download THEIR W10 driver and try that. If that doesn't work, u may have to get another NIC.
