One day my external hdd (WD elements 2tb) And headphones (redgear hellfury pro) stopped working.other devices like pendrives were also not showing up. I went in device manager and tried uninstalling and then installing nothing happened. After looking on the internet i figured i need an external powered usb hub. So I bought that and now my hdd and pen drives are working just fine but when i insert the usb headphones all of my usb devices that are plugged in the usb hub stop working. Need help

What mha or wattage is your powered hub? How much mha/watts do your headphones need? It sounds like the usb headphones need more power than the hub can deliver or at least with other things connected.

In the past the headphones worked fine even after everything was plugged in to gather and I tried using headphones alone on my usb hub and they still didn't work.the usb hub is 12 V/1.5 A from power point and 5V/0.9A from usb port cannt find about the headphones tho

Gonna stick my neck out here and say that I reckon your headset is faulty & causing the problem. Bet if you were to buy or borrow a different USB headset you wouldn't have those issues. Worth a try don't you think?
