I was talking to my friend over discord and I don't know when it happened, but I realized that my mic wasn't working.
I use this headset:
https://www.amazon.com/Headset-compatible-controller-Cancelling-Headphones/dp/B07GX6P768
with a slitter adapter, since the audio jack has three rings and I had to split them for my front I/O.
I tried moving and turning the jacks left and right, even at the adapter part, but nothing wasn't working. My audio is perfectly fine - I'm watching videos with the same quality as before - it just seems to be my microphone that's affected. When I tried going to the recording devices, the mic is still there. When I went to properties, and clicked on "Listen to this device," all I hear back is static, and the more I increase the boost the more it rapes my ears. When I increase the boost and it kills my ears, my friend over discord can apparently hear it too. Does anyone know what the heck is going on?
