[SOLVED] i7 9700k high temp with nzxt kraken x62

Hi guys 1 week ago i bulid my pc


but the problem my CPU temperature is high sometimes above 70 ! my CPU is stock didn't change anything

my cooling settings is Silent i tried switch to performance but i didn't notice a big different


the highet i had was 77 max i was playing GTA online ,, today i was playing overwatch all ultra 2k and i had 68


my PC i7 9700K ,, RTX 2080 ,,, 16 GB ,,, CASE Corsair 760t

The 9700K does run a bit hotter. Though I have to say that 77 Degrees and even 68 degrees seems a tad high especially in gaming for a stock 9700K. I would expect those temps if you were bench testing especially with your cooler which is fairly good. See TechPowerup's review on temps...

The only thing I can suggest is to re-install the Kraken X62 as it just might be that it is not on perfectly and the TIM needs to be re-applied.
