Hi!

I'm getting prepared to build new PC to a case (Corsair Carbide Series Air 240) which I already own. I think I'm going to go with the i5-8600k CPU and I might be overclocking it in the future.
But then I began to think the CPU cooling. The case has only 120mm clearance for the CPU cooler.

Should I go with liquid or with air cooling? I'm aiming for a pretty silent but budget system. What kind of coolers (and which in specific) would you recommend?

Thanks :)

Yeah I think I'll wait for Black Friday to see if there are any good deals. Btw, which is better, the H100i PRO or the H100i v2?
And what other great 240mm AIOs are there?

H100i PRO is a newer model from the v2, and has RGB lighting on the pump unit.
Both are good coolers imo.

You could also find NZXT KRAKEN X52 for around $130 on newegg
