Im assuming assuming its the i5-6600 But i just want to see the performance difference between a fx8350 oc'd at around 4.4 and a stock i5 6600 on a same pc set up.

This is not to say that you can't satisfactorily game/work with the FX. You just have to temper your expectations.

A big factor would be to consider what GPU you paired with each. Too much GPU and the FX will hold it back and overall performance will drop. The i5 would perform better in this comparison as well, in most cases.

Motherboard chipsets and memory speeds (to a lesser extent) would play into an overall comparison, but I digress.

well this is basically just for a 2nd pc for extra stuff i have lying around. I have an fx8350 that oc'd at 4.4/4.5 with 16gb ddr3. and a i5 6600 with a h110m eco mobo (so its not possible to oc it). it will be paired with a 970 atm. but eventually will be paired with a 1070 maybe. or if i can find a cheap 980ti.
