Hi, I have an dell optiplex 3010 sff Intel core i5 3450, would it be better to put a gtx 1060 or a 1050ti. I know space is an issue, i do have an extra tower laying around, maybe i can use that as extra space.
The PSU on the DELL optiplex 3010 SFF is a 240W 80+ gold unit made by delta. It's a decent PSU.
Keeping in mind that the GTX 1060 requires a 6 pin power connector and your power supply doesn't have one I won't recommend it.
You can go with the GTX 1050ti Low Profile version of the card. Has only a 75W tdp and doesn't require a 6 pin connector. It will also fit your SFF case too.
