Hey guys, I'm currently in the lookout for Micro-ATX build and I need a good air cooler for the CPU.

I know Noctuas are good but i don't want the color clashing the rest of the build as it will be with black case and RGB fans. Black ones tho are ok!

The layout of the build is 2 fans at the front to pull fresh air in the case towards CPU. Don't know yet the exhaust part if it is gonna be from the top or the back, we'll see.

CPU is i7-8700k!

The RAM will be these: https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/gskill-trident-z-rgb-16gb-ddr4-16gtzr-kit-3200-cl16-2x8gb

The case is: https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/corsair-crystal-280x-tg-rgb

The motherboard is this Asus one: https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/asus-rog-strix-z370-g-gaming-wifi-ac

I need the cooler to not eat up a GPU or RAM slot and not stick out of the case obviously so that everything properly alligns!

Thank you very much for your time, any suggestion is welcome :)

From the official corsair site the max cooler height is 150 mm
https://www.cnet.com/products/corsair-crystal-series-280x-rgb-tower-micro-atx/specs/

I don't feel like going hydro since I won't be overclocking and don't feel like having a point of failure such as the pump.

By the way, can I add another fan to that h7 to make a push pull config? Assuming that it will fit with the components!

I Really don't know... You can contact them, or wait someone to answer you or google around but I think it will hit the ram with push pull config,(if it hits you can do this) youre gonna have to rotate it then facing down intake and exhaust facing top exhaust.
But here states otherwise

(Scroll down a bit).

Just wait other recommendation since Im kinda noobish.
