Gaming machine freezes

Okay, so this one is weird and I'm having a difficult time pinpointing the cause.

PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 850W P2 80+ Platinum

- I've updated BIOS
- Reinstalled Windows [From Microsoft]
- Tried running Windows Diagnostics Tool [Memory]
- Have had no issues with my graphics card.
- Already replaced the PSU with reoccurring issue.
- No windows events that can help pin point the cause
- No BSOD.
- I have a XMP profile on my RAM set to 2666 [within official specs]
- I am not overclocking anything.
- There are no heating issues.

Don't know what else to try. I get micro-freezes that cause audio to freeze as well. Lasts about 5-10 seconds and only occurs a few times a week.

Stutters still happened when installed on the 850 Evo too. I just forgot to list that, sorry. It's important to note that all of those drives are practically brand new. [less than a year old] and have not been over-used. I do not think it's any of my drives.

I just finished running memtest86. I ran all of the tests 4 times (default) and it came up with nada. I have since realized my XMP profile was setup to a 0001 MHz higher than the motherboard and RAM actually supports. Don't think it'll make a difference, but here's hoping.

They were at 2667. All programs were saying this. Anyways, I just got my first microfreeze since yesterday. I was currently in the middle of pressing the "a" button. Several seconds later, it acted as if I had held down the key for 5 seconds. That's right. The tapping of "a" resulted in "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"

Any ideas yet?

Alright, I found out what the issue was. I took apart my PC (I got a Z motherboard for my 8700K) My graphics card wasn't completely seated in it's slot due to the chassis alignment with the motherboard, I missed the slots to the pci-e covers and it was sticking out a very small amount. After pushing it back in, the freezes stopped on the old motherboard. (I ran it for 24 hours with no issues - (so technically, I could be wrong..) I then switched out to the "Z" version of the new motherboard. Thanks for the responses
