my 8700K is hitting like 95 degrees c when im idle and i dont know why. any help?

PC spec:
CPU: intel core i7 8700k(not overclocked)
CPU cooler: corsair h100i v2
GPU: asus strix gtx 1080ti oc edition
MB: asrock z370 extreme4
RAM: g.skill tridentz rgb 16gb 3000MHz
Case:be quiet! dark base pro 900
PSU: evga 1300 g2

Solution
I would try using a different cooler. It just sounds like you have a bad piece of equipment. I have an i7-8700K with a Hyper 212 Evo and have never seen higher than 70C at stock speeds.

my bios reads 99 degrees celsius to 100 degrees celsius and mb temp at like 23 degrees celsius and i havent tried a different cooler yet

Well, I presume you still have the intel stock cooler...try it, that will give much better temps I am sure.
Sounds like a faulty AIO to me.

Intel doesn't give you a cooler with the i7 8700k.
