Hello,

I recently completed my very first PC build (yay!) But I came across a problem.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/K2rDKB

This is what I built and for some reason I am not running very high FPS on games that are not even Triple A. Maplestory 2 the highest I have seen it go is 67 FPS when I am actively playing. In League of Legends I saw it go up to 152. Fortnite I hit a maximum of 60.. Tried to OC everything through BIOS and got two blue screens.. I am not sure what is happening. Can I get some help on this?

Update [11/12/2018]: Updated BIOS and increased speeds to 100%. Still no increase in FPS.
Update [11/12/2018] [8:21 PM]: Increasing Core Clock and Memory Clock pass 200 MHz crashes the PC.
Update [11/13/2018] [9:32 PM]: Ran 3DMark test to see what scores popped up. I scored 10,380 and someone with a similar set up scored 12,888.
Update [11/14/2018] [5:31 PM]: Ran another Time Spy test on 3DMark. I scored lower after changing the power settings. About 100 points off. After I made my fans run at full power and change my system tuning to Extreme. It went up to 10,523.

Yes I turn off VSync in any games that provide it.

Updated OP.

Ran a Time Spy and Fire Strike test on my PC. Scored 10,380 on Time Spy. Scored a 22,815 on Fire Strike. The highest score on Time Spy with a similar set up scored 12,888. The highest score on Fire Strike with a similar set up scored 25,927.

Hello SgtScream,

Yeah I changed the power settings in windows and nvidia control panel. I also went into my BIOS and increased my fan speed to full power and changed System Tuning from Normal to Extreme.

Reseat the PSU power cables going to the graphics card. Sometimes people don't clip the 6+2 pci-e cable ends together and as a result they don't seat properly into the graphics card. Can you take a picture of the bluescreen and post it please? Also make you are running two dedicated pci-e power supply cables to the graphics card. Not one of those cables that splits off and plugs into both power ports.

Hello SgtScream,

I apologize for the lack of response. I have reseated my PSU power cables and have updated my OP with the recent BSoD image I got. Also I was looking at my Task Manager and was checking my performance. For some reason my CPU went up to 100%. The only active apps I had open were Fortnite, Discord, and Mozzila Firefox.

Also my browser begins to freeze after two hours of my PC being on. I would open the browser a freeze would happen. Then I would try to click around and it would freeze again. Not sure what the problem is. Scanned my PC, there is no virus.

Spare drive? What do you mean by that?

My CPU Speed is at 4.99 GHz, not sure how that is the case. Also for some reason, I am getting CPU Handles going past 90k. As I type this message, I have around 92k and counting. Only programs I have running is: Mozilla Firefox, Discord, Steam, Task Manager, and Nexon Launcher.

After two hours of my PC running, my browser would start to lag. Not sure what the problem is. Only solution to keep it from freezing is to reset the PC.

Checked out my Task Manager and clicked the performance tab.

Up time:
1:01:34:20

I do power off my computer and for some reason my up time continues to keep going. In order to reset the time, I have to restart it. Handles are also at 1,158,316.. Not sure if that's normal.
