Will this mobo support this RAM?

Im looking to buy some ddr3 RAM for my old Asus RoG Maximus IV Extreme Mobo.

Currently I have 2 sticks of 4GB Kingston Hyperx Genesis (1600Mhz Cl9) installed, and I plan on switching to 2 sticks of 8GB Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3 1600Mhz Cl10 to upgrade, however Im not sure if it will work?

Well.....from what you posted....if they meet the MB specs, they should work. Even if they aren't on the QVL list my experience is....they most likely will work.

Although, with memory, there really is never a guarantee.

Not sure, this mobo is kinda old, and 16gb of ddr3 is still expensive, I don't want to sink that money without being absolutely sure that they are compatible.
