Hello I recently built a new pc and after putting it all together and hit that good old power button it turns on...
No display after a bit it started beeping about 5 beeps 1 sec long each according to the manual that indicates a dead cpu i think just to make sure i reseated the ram and did 1 ram at a time in each slot still 5 beeps. After that I did zero ram still 5 beeps
worried I bent pins I checked but looked fine I also removed cmos battery and reset the jumper same 5 beeps
I sent the cpu back and got a slightly better one.
It arrives tommarow

Old cpu i5 8400.
New cpu i5 8500.
