Hello, I just updated my PC a couple days ago and after reinstalling everything, my first 2 RAM slots no longer work. I have a EVGA motherboard and when all slots are plugged in, the PC won't boot but make a couple beeps and post an error code 55. I only upgraded case, GPU, PSU, and a couple fans.

I just want to know if this is fixable or should I just get a new motherboard.

Specs.
-Fractal Define R6
-Intel 4790K (no OC)
-EVGA Z97 Classified Motherboard
-16 gigs of Corsair Dominator Platinum (Was 32 gigs before upgrades)
-Corsair HXI 850 PSU
-ASUS GTX 2080

Not to sure on how to do a Cmos reset. I did change the battery to a brand new one though.

However I just called a local PC shop and they said it most likely isn't fixable.... D:

I apologize for not specifying. I never upgraded my RAM. I only upgraded GPU, PSU, and Case. The kit is DDR3 2400mhz. Bought them all at the same time. They are a C11 memory kit.

Here is a link to them.

Corsair as well as other memory manufacturers don't guarantee compatibility when using multiple kits of memory. Changes in GPU may affect system performance.

Workarounds for getting extra memory to work include:
Lower memory clock speed
Relax DRAM timings
Increase DRAM voltage

Good suggestions. Ill also put my original GPU in to see if it works with that one. If it does, will I need to proceed with lowering speeds and configuring voltage to make all 4 work with my new card?
