Hi,
I used to have 3GB of ram, but then I decided to go for a little "upgrade". So I bought one stick of 1GB ddr2. But my PC says that 4GBs are installed but 3GBs are usable. After some research I found out that the problem is BIOS version.
Btw, ram is 4x1GB, I don't know about frequency and latency. And the Motherboard version is the first one I saw that.
If you need to know more to be able to help me, just write down, I'll say you everything I know about my ram, motherboard,etc..
Thanks!
(*Sorry for my bad english!*)

I have 64-bit system, Windows 10 Pro

That is not unusual. Some of the 4GB is used to load the OS into, as well as various other drivers.

The procedure for updating your BIOS is in the owner's manual for your motherboard. You need to follow that procedure EXACTLY as written. Anything else runs the risk of bricking your motherboard.
