Hello guys I want to upgrade my pc from FM2+ Athlon to AM4 Ryzen (R5 2600). Right now I will only buy the 3 essentials, Motherboard, CPU and RAM, and transfer the other components from my old pc. I have a hard time deciding on the RAM, because the prices are really fluctuating and finding the best budget/performance option isn't easy, but so far I found 2 which seem to be the best to me: HyperX Fury 8GB 2666 Mhz CL16 1.2v vs Corsair Vengeange 8GB 3000 Mhz CL16 1.35v. The HyperX is couple dollars cheaper, but I heard that RAM frequency affects Ryzen performance more, so logic answer would be the Corsair but I don't know what difference would the 1.35v make over the 1.2v. Also I didn't decided the motherboard, but so far MSI B450 platform is the most viable option either a Tomahawk or Gaming Plus, but I also saw an X470 Gaming Plus priced reasonably. So my questions are:
Which of these 2 rams should I get?
My plan is to have 16Gb dual channel memory in the end, but now I only buy one stick of 8gb and if I buy the same RAM again will it work the same if I bought a kit?
What MB do you recommend for 3000 mhz or 2666 mhz?
Thanks for the answers.

I would just pick the Vengeance ram,as you said for it's higher speed and same cas latency. The voltage is just what is needed to make the ram run stable,up to 1.35V is still very safe. The 1.2V on the HyperX might give it some overclocking ability, but seeing it already starts with a cas latency of 16 would i just not bother, but maybe i'm wrong.

Since the X470 seems obtainable would i go for that. It seems to have a bit more mature VRM and imo are the placements of the headers and connectors (sata/usb 3.0 internal) better. The clear cmos button is also a nice addition. Also the extra M.2 slot.
