DHCP problems on dual modem-router setup

Good day/afternoon/night!
Well, the problem is pretty weird so i'm gonna try to be as clear as possible.

Lets call modem-routers by MR#1 and MR#2. Both are connected between them by an ethernet cable.

MR#1 manages internet connection, DHCP and provides wired connection to 2 PC's, and 2.4 and 5ghz wifi coverage in certain rooms (the printer needs 2.4Ghz).

MR#2 extends the network to another 2 wired PC's and a laptop via 5Ghz only wifi.

The problem is, when i connect to MR#1 via wifi, and then switch to MR#2 due to wifi range limitations, MR#2 won't let the device get an IP, of course, no internet connection.
I tried using a static IP and it connects to the wifi AP, only to be able to use lan functions, but still no internet.
The only way to get internet again from MR#2 on that device is waiting around 5 minutes to get everything back to normal, until i switch to MR#1 and then... it happens again. Exactly the same time, always.

Disabled DHCP on MR#2 at setup time.
Disabled UPnP, nothing changed.

My smartphone says the following error: "network_selection_disabled_dhcp_failure", so... I assume my smartphone says "hey! dhcp is not working for some reason" and after 5 exact minutes "Nvm, it works" and gets back to normal.

Wired devices work normally.

Same thing happens with my laptop, so i think it must be a routing issue.
It seems like MR#2 won't let you access to MR#1 DHCP for some reason.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

They have a different number at the final of each SSID to differ between them.
The problems come when i switch between both and i need to because wifi range is not enough, so i need to switch to the closest router. Devices do it automatically but they get stuck when they don't receive IP due to dhcp failure.
Thanks for your answer!

Everything is fine and set up properly, it works if i switch from MR#2 to MR#1, but it doesn't from MR#1 to MR#2.
I noticed the device with this problem doesn't have access to MR#1 for those 5 min delay (must pass through MR#2, so something is blocking the access from MR#2 to MR#1 from that specific device that switched).
Thanks.
