A few years ago i bought a "custom" pc through one of the build sites because i had a gift card to best buy.
Has ran perfect until a few weeks ago.
No video.
Fans spin that's it.
So i took video card to friend and tested fine.
Replaced power supply with new.
Tried different monitor.
Unplugged dvd drive and secondary hard drive.
Just got done replacing motherboard and new heatsink.
Same exact thing.
Only items remaining are cpu and ram.
Original mobo ga 78lmt-s2
New is 970a-ds3p
Old power supply was some no name 600 watt. New is evga 650cq
Vid card is evga gtx960
Processor is fx6300 never overclocked.
Ram is geil pc3 12800 2x8gb cl11
Os is win 10 on a sandisk ssd but never gets to boot screen.
In fact doesn't make monitor light change at all from hibernate.
One thing new mobo lets it do is turn off by holding power button which it would not do before.
I figured moving the cpu i should ditch the stock cooler so i put on a coolermaster 212evo.

Again, this was a functioning pc for years.
Where do i head from here?
I have a lot of shiny parts i would like to make work! I usually go 5 years before any upgrades! First pc i didn't build myself since high school.
