I removed the sticker off my M.2 NVME SSD and a small silver piece fell off. Now It only boots for 5 seconds and blue screens!

I bought an old Samsung M.2 SSD for cheap. I decided to take off the sticker for aesthetics and I am pretty sure a capacitor or something came off with it. It has not worked since and I hope someone can help!

Did you test if it was working before doing this?
Honestly, not much you can do.

I did and it boots for a bit. It looks like I can solder a capacitor of some sort.

Soldering a capacitor onto it is a surefire way to 100% kill the drive. It's dead now, as noted above, not much you can do now.

If this is your first time doing this...I suggest you practice, practice, practice.
Find some other old component and practice.

I'm not worried about the process factor, I just don't know where in the world I will find that specific piece. I cant seem to find any diagrams about how any of the m.2 SSD is put together.
